Waterproofing on the rooftop for a 35-year-old building. The roof slab was completely damaged resulting in water seepage.  Removed old waterproof area till the concrete level and completed waterproofing freshly.  Below points need to be considered while waterproofing The surface is clean without any dust. Cement mixed water along with waterproof liquid need to be spread on the entire area Concreting needs to be done based on the slope level of the roof. High-quality sand (plastering sand) needs to be used for covering the floor. Cement mixing need to be done with the help of water and waterproof liquid Water curing needs to be done for 3 to 4 days Waterproof paint needs to be applied on the roof only once the roof is completely dried.

The below points need to be remembered while doing this work.  Tube levels for top and bottom levels need to be checked  Make sure stones are kept at 90 degrees otherwise other stones will mismatch The gap between two stones should be equal and filled with cement  Support from the bottom needs to be perfect otherwise it may break when a vehicle passes Make sure that all stones are the same size The stone shouldn't be sleepy otherwise it may cause an accident.

Mould (Fungus) on the wall - How to Get Rid of Fungus and Mould from Your Home

Mould  is a kind of fungus that develops due to many reasons. Some of the reason is mentioned below. This will grow gradually if not treated on time.  Humid conditions Lack of ventilation plumbing leaks Use of low-grade paint material What steps need to be taken to control Mould (Fungus) Remove the mould till you get a solid cement area wash and spray the anti-mould chemicals keep let it dry for a few days and check if mould again starts formating. Repeat the same steps a couple of times till it stops the formation of mould. Apply branded putty and let it dry for a few days before starting the painting. Generally, the painter will apply the paint soon after applying the putty.  Avoid covering this area for a few days after painting.
